How many people look at tree surgeons with a hint of envy? Who is lucky enough to climb trees for a living? It’s every adult’s dream to delve back into their childhood once in a while and treehouses tend to release the inner child whatever the age. You just have to look at the Daily Mail’s Shed of the year, to discover how popular they are becoming.
TreeSurgery.com caught up with Phil Anderson of Aerial Architects one evening after working on his latest treehouse project. He wouldn’t say who he building the tree house for (he is very discreet.) but his clients generally tend to be wealthy business people who want to escape back into their childhood.
Phil builds bespoke tree houses which vary in design and luxury. Very basic models consist of one room whilst more exotic have running water, electricity, kitchen facilities, multiple floors and many rooms. How about a zip wire for a quick exit?
