For tree lovers - Domesday Oak - Ashton Court, Bristol - (one of the top 50 UK Jubilee Trees) This is a lovely old pollarded old oak - it is named this Domesday because the 100 acres of Ashton Court was recorded in the old book and this tree is a survivor - there are around 500 veteran trees- the are is also a SSSI because of all the insect life.
Other interesting trees can be found at Bristol Zoo Gardens, Clifton, - this a combination of a zoo and Arboretum.
